First time ever, the yearly OutDoor tradeshow for the Industry in Friedrichshafen (GER) has this year finally reached to incorporate a sign or two, of a new outdoor movement.

Hidden like Gems, though. You had to be very vigilant & spot on eyed out to catch them. Not sure if hardly any other noticed, luckily it’s my Trendscouting Naturell to both come across & catch what it means.

Finally! I say! It’s time to step away from the oh sooverdozed hi performance drill of going extreme – in the same looks of sports gear since years! Quite astonishing, how the outdoor sports gear manufacturer keep going down the same lane w/ their collections. My take, 98% still didn’t grasp any of it, yet.

As an exploring personality & dynamic lifestyle leader w/ clear vision for the new now, I’m bored out w/ this old school approach: These days in our time now, it’s about new views on exploring horizons.

Including a few stories of ordinary people behind the lens who set out to do the extra-ordinary, this Compilation of breathtaking places in the world opens your eyes for the new desires of outdoor adventures by capturing the atmosphere of inspiring explorations.

Co-Editor Jeffrey Bowman wants you to act on it & presented his new publication at The OutDoor 2015 Tradeshow in Friedrichshafen (GER). The English graphic designer is an active part of the new outdoor movement himself. It mainly started when he embarked to explore the Norwegian countryside on a 2,000 kilometer round trip: “Go on a skiing vacation or mountainbike on Saturdays is great fun. But when I went to live in Norway, I realized, that’s a whole other level of experiencing Nature!”

Yep! As a born & grown Swiss, having embarked for various ventures, I Roger that! It’s been in my Naturell since kiddo, has grown into my awareness, & had me ReView & ReSetUp my different Lifestages: It’s living a lifestyle. Integrating it all. Not just a single event & experience – it’s going & growing w/ what you experience when you explore. Advancing from freeked first timers, through to pushing even further thrills or expanding joy, & living on it even when back home &/ in an office that seemingly, at an ordinary glance, got nothing to do w/ it!

You’ve got to plunge, step into, & soak it up, to get the feel &/ hang of it.

“It was only after I started to look into Nature trips, when I noticed how many if mainly very small companies have emerged getting creative about the passion of going outdoorsy”.

In his book, The Outsiders, Jeffrey showcases how these are drawing inspiration from turning to the balancing peace & the enlivening kick, creating improved products & brands for turning to adventure the Nature to offset our daily grind.

What once has been so called adventurers, globetrotters, nomads, is now developping into a new more radical & hip trend, much more aesthetical driven from the handicraft edge, while functionally top latest technology, challenged by the new way of going into the wild.

With my first book last year, The Outsiders, I wanted to connect the dots of all those spread emergent individual creatives &/ lifestyle entrepreneurs to show how it has become a notable movement by now.”
